Welcome to Elaine Moore Psychotherapy

I am an integrative psychotherapist with UKCP accreditation offering psychotherapy, counselling and clinical supervision.

Providing a safe, comfortable and private setting

Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed by events in your life, struggling with difficult emotions, finding relationships challenging, or simply sensing that something isn't quite right. Whatever has brought you here, psychotherapy and counselling offer a safe, confidential space where we can work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Life's unexpected twists, losses, and challenges can leave us feeling disconnected, uncertain, or overwhelmed. At times, it can feel lonely trying to make sense of these experiences on your own. Psychotherapy and counselling provide a supportive, confidential environment where you can explore what you're going through with someone who is there to listen with empathy, curiosity, and without judgement.

The therapeutic relationship is unique because the focus is entirely on you. My role is to offer a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together to deepen your understanding of yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move towards meaningful and lasting change.

Ethics and Confidentiality

As a UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist I adhere to their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

Individual therapy offers you the opportunity to explore whatever is happening in your life within a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy provides a space to pause, reflect, and better understand yourself.

Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. As we develop a trusting therapeutic relationship, we can begin to make sense of patterns, identify what may be holding you back, and explore new ways of responding to life's challenges.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. I believe that each person's experiences are unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted, allowing you to work towards greater self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, and lasting personal growth.

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of connection, support, and fulfilment, but they can also bring challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone. Whether you are experiencing recurring conflict, communication difficulties, a loss of trust, changes in intimacy, or are facing a significant life transition, couples therapy offers a safe, confidential space to explore what is happening in your relationship.

In our work together, the focus is not on assigning blame or deciding who is right or wrong. Instead, we will seek to understand the patterns that have developed between you, explore the needs and experiences of each partner, and create opportunities for more open, honest, and compassionate communication.

Couples therapy can help you strengthen your relationship, rebuild trust after difficult experiences, manage conflict more constructively, and deepen your understanding of one another. It can also provide a supportive space to consider important decisions about your relationship with greater clarity and care.

My role is to provide an impartial, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where both partners feel heard and valued. Together, we will work towards fostering healthier ways of relating, enabling you to move forward with greater confidence, understanding, and connection.

Clinical supervision provides a reflective, collaborative space to support your professional development and the wellbeing of both you and your clients. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, supervision offers the opportunity to think deeply about your clinical work, celebrate successes, explore challenges, and develop your practice with confidence.

I offer a supportive and respectful supervisory relationship where you can reflect openly on your client work, ethical dilemmas, professional boundaries, and the emotional impact of therapeutic practice. Together, we will consider your work through a thoughtful and curious lens, helping you to deepen your understanding of your clients, yourself as a practitioner, and the therapeutic process.

My approach to supervision is grounded in openness, collaboration, and reflection. I aim to create a space where you feel both supported and appropriately challenged, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and continued professional growth while maintaining a strong focus on ethical and effective practice.

Whether you are working in private practice, within an organisation, or completing your training, I offer supervision tailored to your stage of development, theoretical orientation, and professional needs.

My Location

My practice is based near the centre of Leamington Spa, easily accessible from Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Southam and Rugby. The ground-floor practice room offers a private, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable and at ease.

You'll find free on-street parking nearby, and I'm just a 20-minute walk from Leamington Spa train station. The practice is on the local bus routes, and the town centre is within easy walking distance.

Taking the first step can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. I offer a 20 minute, no obligation consultation for us to have a quick chat about what you’re looking for and to see if I can help.
